Profession: everyone wants to have fun…right? Ashley gives people fun, in any way they desire whether they’re normal or different.
Describe your character's appearance as clearly as you can:
Ashley is decadent looking. His nearly shoulder length black hair is always clean and done up, his skin is almost sickly pale and he speaks, smiles, yells with his whole body. He’s about 5 foot 9 tall with a strong build that should have more muscle and fat on it then it does.
He has a cherub mouth and a small nose and large expressive light blue eyes. His eyes are always moving and looking around and he never stands straight, always with his weight on one leg and a hand on his hip. He likes his profile more then his front on appearance, (he thinks his sharp jaw makes him look tough) so when he’s talking to someone he turns his head slightly and looks at them out of the corner of his eye. He’s almost always smiling, even if it sometimes isn’t a nice smile.
As a trained dancer Ashley has a very graceful walk, even in impossibly high shoes, and though he’s quite thin he does have decent muscles and is pretty fit.
Describe your character's style as clearly as you can:
Ashley loves to look beautiful, intriguing and mysterious. He can be pretty out there fashion wise, with platform boots, tight leather pants, silk shirts. His favourite outfit must be a black silk button down shirt (unbuttoned at the top so part of his pale chest is revealed) tucked into a pair of fitted black pants that are tucked into knee high patent leather black platform boots. A silver chain, a dangling earring and an aviator hat and sunglasses complete the outfit.
Not that Ashley dresses this way all the time. He’s a bit of a chameleon, changing as the job demands it. He can be 1920’s classic, trashy, sophisticated, grunge. It’s like he has different skins that he puts on depending on his mood or client.
Describe your character's attitude as clearly as you can:
Ashley can be callous and sarcastic to people he doesn’t know or doesn’t like. He likes to keep people on their toes and confuse them. He’s curious but would rather wheedle information out of people then ask them a straight forward question.
His outward expressions are usually confident and slightly devilish. Biting his lip, raising an eyebrow, a low laugh are all things he does, partly because it makes him look harmless, partly because he likes being a flirt. He pretends to be much more comfortable and confident around people then he really is, because, as his eyes give away, he’s always on the look out for danger, an opportunity etc.
Ashley likes a lot of things, not that he’d openly admit it to anyone. He likes animals, moonlight, dancing, music, dreaming. He likes romance and movies and dates and all the usual stuff. The only thing he doesn’t really like is people. Stupid people, at that. People who hate for no reason, who are blind to their own weaknesses, mean people with no room for compassion or thoughts for the future. In short, just about everyone. He hates normals because they’re malicious and differents because they have no backbone and are just letting normals walk all over them.This makes Ashley’s choice of profession rather strange, but he’s a good liar so he gets by. He tells himself he does it because it pays well, but in reality he’s just as attracted to people as he is repelled by them. Especially in this decadent and rotting day and age people are like nothing seen ever before, and Ashley just loves it. Being close to people is how Ashley knows he’s alive and real, and not just living in a dream.
Talents: Talents include being able to get what he wants, finding weaknesses in people, not caring about anyone except himself but at the same time making himself liked by people. Having no shame, but a lot of pride at the same time.
